Vineyard Vixen 34
Description
The Vineyard Vixen 34 is a rare, elegant double-ender (canoe-stern) fiberglass cruising sloop designed by T. M. Hale & Assoc. (Tom Hale of Martha's Vineyard Shipyard) as the larger sister to the popular Vineyard Vixen 29. It was built in very limited numbers—only about 23 hulls—at the Martha's Vineyard Shipyard in Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts, between the late 1970s and 1986. The design emphasizes classic aesthetics, seakindly motion, solid construction, and comfortable coastal cruising or short offshore passages rather than high speed or racing.
