Vivacity 24

Vivacity 24

Description

The Vivacity 24 is a solidly built, affordable twin-keel (bilge keel) family cruiser designed by Alan F. Hill and built by Russel Marine Ltd. in the UK starting in 1969 (production continued into the early 1980s). It was developed as a practical coastal cruiser offering good accommodations and the ability to dry out upright on a falling tide, making it popular for tidal waters and gunkholing. The design is a moderate-displacement masthead sloop with options for twin keels or a single fin keel with rudder on skeg. It provides a stable, forgiving platform suitable for beginners or families on weekend or short coastal cruises, rather than high-performance racing or heavy offshore work.
