Waarship 900 (Waarschip 10.10)
Description
The Waarschip 900 (also known as the Waarschip 900+ or Waarschip 10.10) is a fast, narrow, performance-oriented fractional sloop designed by Dutch naval architect Klaas T. Kremer in the early 1970s. It was built by Werf t' Waarschip (Waarschip Yachts) in the Netherlands, primarily in plywood (with teak or epoxy options; some later GRP versions). Production was limited (dozens of hulls rather than hundreds), and the boat was popular among Dutch and European sailors for club racing and fast coastal cruising. The design emphasizes low wetted surface, a high ballast ratio (~50%), and responsive handling in a slim, elegant hull.
