Description

The Wylie Wabbit 24 (commonly called the Wabbit 24 or Wylie Wabbit) is a lightweight, high-performance fractional sloop day racer/camper-cruiser designed by Thomas Wylie (Wylie Design Group) in 1982. It was built in fiberglass by small-run builders (primarily in the San Francisco Bay area), with only 63 boats completed before production ended. The design is a cult favorite on San Francisco Bay and other breezy venues for its extreme lightness, narrow beam, and thrilling speed. It combines simple camping-cruiser accommodations with "wet and wild" performance — capable of planing and reaching 15–20 knots in the right conditions while remaining trailerable and manageable for a small crew.
