Wasa 38

Wasa 38

Description

The Wasa 38 (also known as the Wasa 38 or Wasa Marin 38) is a Swedish fractional sloop performance cruiser/racer designed by Leif Ängermark (with some references also crediting Hans Leander). It was built by Wasa Yachts (Wasa Marin AB) in Sweden, with production starting in 1980. The yard (founded in 1975) focused on high-quality GRP construction and built a limited number of this model alongside other Wasa designs like the 360 and 370. Exact production numbers are not widely published, but the Wasa 38 was a successful model in its day, with surviving examples still actively sailed (many have been IMS-adapted or refitted over the years).
