Description
The Whisstock 044 (also known as Design No. 044) is a large 67-foot British cruising cutter designed by George Whisstock as a high-end, semi-custom bluewater yacht suitable for comfortable long-distance passage making or charter work. It was developed as one of the larger designs in Whisstock’s portfolio of downloadable boat plans, with the hull intended primarily for professional or experienced amateur construction in aluminum alloy (with plans also available for steel). No series production occurred; the design is offered exclusively as plans through Whisstock Boats and Boat Plans, resulting in a very low (likely single digit) number of completed boats given its size, complexity, and material requirements.
