Laguna Windrose 25
Description
The Laguna Windrose 25 (also known as the Windrose 25) is a small, trailerable recreational keelboat designed by W. Shad Turner. It was built by Laguna Yachts of Anaheim/Stanton, California, using solid fiberglass construction with a swing keel (cast iron ballast). Production occurred in the late 1970s to early 1980s (examples documented from 1977–1981), as an extension of Laguna’s affordable Windrose series of compact trailer-sailers; the exact quantity built is not well-documented in public records but appears to have been relatively low to moderate. It features a fractional sloop rig, basic cruising accommodations for four (including a V-berth forward, convertible dinette, and quarter berths), and a practical balance of light-air performance, stability, and easy trailering/launching, making it suitable for coastal daysailing, club racing, or entry-level family cruising.
