Laguna Windrose 26

Laguna Windrose 26

Description

The Laguna Windrose 26 (also known as the Windrose 26 or later rebadged as the Laguna 26) is a compact, trailerable recreational keelboat designed by W. Shad Turner as an affordable cruiser. It was built by Laguna Yachts of Anaheim/Stanton, California, using solid fiberglass construction with a fin keel and transom-hung rudder. Production was limited to 1982 (some sources note a short run with approximately 400 hulls built), after which the molds were later used for the similar Classic 26 starting in 1991. It features a masthead sloop rig, basic cruising accommodations with standing headroom (about 6'2"), berths for four or more, and a practical balance of performance, stability, and easy trailering/launching, making it suitable for coastal cruising, club racing, or entry-level family use.
