Wylie 33
Description
The Wylie 33 is a performance-oriented racer/cruiser designed by Tom Wylie (Wylie Design Group, San Francisco Bay Area). It was built in limited numbers (likely a small series or semi-custom run in the late 1970s/early 1980s) as a lightweight fiberglass monohull with a fin keel and spade rudder. Like its smaller sibling the Wylie 28 (Hawkfarm), it emphasizes responsive handling, good light-air performance, and a generous sail plan on a relatively light platform suitable for bay/coastal racing or weekend cruising.
