Wylie 34
Description
The Wylie 34 (also known as the Wylie 34 by Tom Wylie or Wylie Design Team) is a performance-oriented racer/cruiser designed by Tom Wylie in the late 1970s. It was built in limited numbers (approximately 16 hulls) by North Coast Yachts (Watsonville, California) in fiberglass with a fin keel and spade rudder. The design emphasizes a lightweight, responsive hull with good all-around sailing qualities—competitive in bay and coastal racing while remaining suitable for weekend cruising or short passages. It reflects Tom Wylie's philosophy of efficient, fun-to-sail boats with a generous sail plan that excels in light air.
