Zap 26
Description
The Zap 26 is a rare, lightweight American fiberglass performance sailboat from the late 1970s, designed by Bruce King (a noted naval architect known for fast, elegant designs like the Ericson and some custom racers). It was built in very limited numbers (around 20 hulls) by Zap Marine (or associated with Winsett Yachts in Las Vegas for some examples). It represents a late-International Offshore Rule (IOR) / early-performance cruiser-racer with a swept fractional rig, emphasizing speed and responsiveness in a trailerable package.
